Women’s Rugby Scholarship

The Kellie M. Duggan Memorial Scholarship was launched in 2008 to provide tuition to women rugby players. It is in memory of the remarkable player, Kellie M. Duggan, who’s compassion as teammate and leader on the women’s rugby team has inspired many. Help us raise our scholarship goal and together we can make a difference.

Voted Best Four-Year College

The 14th annual Best Of the Capital Region has voted Siena College the best four-year college.

1. Siena College

2. University at Albany

3. Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute

Siena is voted number one for the second year in a row. The Times Union newspaper says it was picked because the “3,000 student school has clearly found a niche, as an affordable liberal arts school on a beauitful campus.”

Haitian Students Honored Among Graduates

The three men who came to Siena College to finish their educations after the devastating earth quake in Haiti last year, were honored among graduates during the commencement exercises. WNYT has special coverage of them being honored.

Congratulations Class of 2011!

Siena College held their commencement exercises on Sunday, May 15 at the Times Union Center. Students graduated with stimulating degrees in liberal arts, business and science. While completing any one of the 27 majors and 47 minors and certificate programs, some student’s also graduated with Masters of Science in Accounting. Hundreds of student’s participated in studying abroad, internships, independent studies, honors programs, and undergraduate research, as well as NCAA Division I athletics, intramural athletics, and a wide variety of club and service organizations.

Siena One of the Top Catholic Colleges

Siena College has been voted among 23 other colleges and universities as one of the top catholic colleges in an About.Com study. Schools were selected based on reputation, retention rates, graduation rates, academic quality, value and curricular innovations.

Spectrum Juried Art Exhibition

The Creative Arts Department presents a juried art exhibition featuring student’s artwork. It will run from Tuesday April 26 to Friday April 29 in the Foy Hall lobby.

A reception will be held on Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Awards and honors will be announced at 6:30 p.m.

Mother’s Day Sale on Campus

Stop by the student union center Friday April 29 to buy your mother something special for mother’s day. The Del Grosso Marketplace will be selling reasonable priced organic soaps. They will be individually wrapped and ready to be given.
